Skin health technology
Naevi is a precision mole monitoring platform that uses longitudinal imaging and intelligent pattern recognition to help clinicians and patients stay ahead of skin health.
Process
Naevi combines consistent photographic capture with longitudinal data to give clinicians a clear, chronological picture of every lesion under care.
Patients are body-mapped at intake. High-resolution images capture each lesion with precise metadata — location, dimensions, and morphology.
Follow-up images are automatically aligned to baseline. Naevi highlights measurable changes in size, colour, border, and symmetry at each visit.
Clinicians receive an intelligent summary of which lesions warrant review, freeing time to focus where it counts most.
Patient-facing timelines and clinician reports are generated automatically, creating a clear record of progress and decisions.
Mobile App
The Naevi app lets patients photograph and track their own moles between clinical visits. Swipe between front, back, and head views on the interactive body map, tap any mole to see its full history, or add a new one with guided capture.
Each lesion has a dedicated notes field — record exactly where it is, how it feels, and any observations for your clinician.
Capture Guide
Use natural daylight or bright, even indoor light. Avoid flash — it creates harsh reflections that obscure texture and colour. Move near a window if possible, with no shadows falling across the mole.
Hold your phone 2–5 cm from the skin and position the mole squarely within the target circle shown on screen. Keep your hand completely steady — even slight blur makes accurate comparison impossible at your next visit.
After photographing, use the notes field to record the exact location, how it feels to the touch, and any changes you've noticed — such as itching, bleeding, or change in texture. These details are invaluable to your clinician.
